Luohu marks Entrepreneurs' Day with dialogue between officials and business people
Luohu organized activities at Golden Business Center on Nov. 5 to observe the district’s Entrepreneurs' Day that it founded three years ago.
Luohu mayor Fan Defan and other officials of Luohu and Shenzhen, including Li Yong, Party chief of the Shenzhen Federation of Industry and Commerce (SFIC), had candid and open exchanges with 29 representatives of entrepreneurs from Shenzhen and Hong Kong. They discussed the sustainable development of Luohu and the integrated development of Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
Luohu attaches great significance to improving its business environment and addressing the practical concerns of businesses. The district has implemented a series of supporting policies to relieve the burden on enterprises and assist those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
After hearing suggestions and advice from entrepreneurs, Fan introduced Luohu's latest moves to serve entrepreneurs and the district's new policies to seek high-quality, sustainable development. He encouraged the business community to assume a more significant role in fostering regional integrated development, particularly Hong Kong businesspeople.
Li pointed out that the SFIC would collect and sort out the suggestions from the entrepreneurs and provide timely feedback.
He added that private entrepreneurs are the main force driving high-quality economic development, and the SFIC welcomes their insights to help Shenzhen achieve "Shenzhen speed" and "Shenzhen quality" in the new era to make Shenzhen a highland in the country for healthy growth of the private sector.
