Luohu launches revamped official website
Shenzhen’s Luohu district launched its upgraded official website on Oct. 28, facilitating the district to build itself into a digitalized government that is efficient at providing services.
The government will release more information about its work on the website and emphasize improving interactions with netizens and providing efficient administrative services.
As a pioneer of reform and opening-up, Luohu district upholds a people-centered approach and aims to improve and raise the standards of basic public services. By upgrading its official website, the district can increase its ability to deliver through online channels and modernize its governance system, in a bid to build a satisfying government with sound digital services.
The website has five major sections: the homepage, wonderful Luohu, governmental information, services and feedback. People can give feedback conveniently and have a more satisfying experience when browsing the revised website, which now has richer content and more services.
The website features three core functions: searching, services and feedback. The website sorts over 3,000 keywords into 12 major categories, saving users time finding the information they need. Using an algorithm and according to information on previous browsing habits, the website will recommend personalized content for each user. People can also sign into the website to have a better experience.
As one of the six oldest areas of Shenzhen, Luohu district was also one of the first areas to be developed during reform and opening-up and when Shenzhen was designated as a national special economic zone. Luohu is also a popular spot for expats, with Luohu Commercial City housing many of the district’s foreign residents.
