Luohu unveils green development to-do list
The Luohu district government announced 23 key tasks in four aspects on saving energy and reducing carbon emissions for the next three years on Oct. 25.
For example, the district will reduce the energy consumption per unit of GDP by 15.5% from the level of 2020 in three years. Moreover, the district will develop a low-carbon and circular economic system with competitive and sizable industry clusters. It will also build three green development demonstration zones in Caiwuwei, Shuibei and Sungang.
By 2025, Luohu is expected to have a multi-mode three-dimensional traffic network and a high-density rail transit network. The district will have built no less than 10 energy-saving and low-carbon medical institutions, established and licensed no less than 50 energy-saving and low-carbon hotels. Its energy-saving and low-carbon schools will have accounted for more than 30% of the district’s total.
