Luohu recently launched its fourth batch of public rental housing this year.
A total of 273 apartment houses in eight locations in the district are open for qualified families’ applications.
Over the past decade, Luohu has continuously improved its housing supply and security system with multiple supplies and multi-channel support.
Since the starting of the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-20) period, Luohu has supplied a total of 34,862 units of government-subsidized housing through different measures such as shantytown renovation, urban renewal, market leasing and rental subsidies.
Last year, Luohu supplied 3,636 units of public housing, and it plans to provide at least 25,000 units of such housing during the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) period to meet the demands of the people.
