The Luohu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine has recently opened an online consultation platform.
The platform provides a “one-stop” service, which can help meet diversified diagnosis and treatment needs of patients as well as the needs of patients with chronic diseases and common diseases for follow-up treatment and prescription.
Currently, nearly 300 doctors have been admitted to the internet platform. The platform has many functions, including online consultation, follow-up prescription, drug distribution and query of inspection reports. It provides medical services related to internal medicine, surgery, acupuncture, geriatrics, tendon injury, bone injury, pediatrics, skin diseases, and disease prevention, among others. The platform also supports online payments and free deliveries of drugs across Shenzhen.
However, the hospital said the platform is unsuitable for patients in urgent or critical condition or those with colds and fever. If a patient is in a worser condition or becomes critically ill, they should seek timely medical treatment offline.
