The Standing Committee of Luohu District People's Political Consultative Conference, the district's top political advisory body, held a special consultation meeting on the development of the Hongling emerging financial and industrial belt on Aug 5.
Liu Guangmin, chairman of the standing committee, presided over the meeting. The district leaders, including Zuo Jinping, Lai Jianhua, Luo Litao, Liao Jinwen, Luo Jianlin, Yang Ming, and Liang Zhen, took part in the meeting along with members of the standing committee.
The attendants listened to a committee member's research report on Hongling by Lu Wei. Meanwhile, the other 10 members delivered speeches on different topics, including the whole life cycle of the financial service system, Shenzhen-Hong Kong financial cooperation, science and technology innovation and application in finance, and foreign investment.
Huang Tuo, director of Luohu financial service agency, replied to the committee members' addresses. Huang also disclosed details about the government's plan regarding Hongling's future development.
The district's political advisors have conducted intensive fact-finding missions on the topic for more than four months and have obtained large amounts of first-hand materials. They have provided the district government with more than 60 pieces of suggestions on the construction of the Hongling emerging financial and industrial belt.
Zuo Jinping, deputy mayor of Luohu, spoke highly of the political advisors' professional advice to the government in developing Hongling and encouraged them to do more to serve the high-quality development of the district.
