Expanded cross-border e-commerce list boosts foreign trade
The new positive list of cross-border e-commerce, implemented on March 1, has driven steady growth in retail import value and stimulated the vitality of Shenzhen's cross-border e-commerce market, Shenzhen Customs said on April 25.
In addition to adding 29 items of goods that have been in strong consumer demand in recent years and expanding the categories of imports, the list has also optimized some existing goods, increasing the number of items on the list from 1,240 in 2016 to 1,476 to enrich product supply further.
More than 98% of exported packages and more than 95% of imported packages can automatically finish the customs clearance for cross-border e-commerce in Shenzhen, saving time and costs for all parties.
