20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair to feature 52 sub-venues
On May 8, a conference on sub-venues of the 20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) was held in Shenzhen. According to the ICIF Organizing Committee, this year's fair features 52 sub-venues hosting nearly 400 events, focusing on cultural displays, industry-specific activities, and public engagement, and highlighting digital empowerment and new-quality productive forces.
Among the 52 sub-venues, Nanshan district has the highest number with 12, followed by Longgang with 13, Bao'an with 9, Luohu with 4, Futian with 7, Longhua with 6, and Dapeng New District with 1. These sub-venues serve as an organic extension of the main venue, providing significant support for cultural enterprises in Shenzhen to expand and increase industry impact.
Several sub-venues are embracing digitalization trend and Shenzhen's "20+8" industrial cluster initiative. They are exploring new modes, applications, and business formats in the digital cultural industry, showcasing cutting-edge technology, and facilitating project cooperation and transactions.
With the theme "Empowering Industries through Digital Intelligence," the Zhiheng Cultural and Technological Creative Park plans to present four major exhibitions and six sub-exhibition halls, covering over 10,000 square meters. It will focus on AI-generated content, digital creative incubators, and more.
Global Digital Sub-Venue will leverage advanced digital technology, including AI virtual humans, to create a unique cultural experience. It aims to drive the adoption of new AI-based technologies in the cultural sector through various interactive and immersive events.
1980 Oil Pine Animation Industry Park will demonstrate the impact of AI-generated content (AIGC) on the cultural and creative industries. It will host major project signings and cultural industry investment fund launches to strengthen industry transactions.
Many sub-venues highlight the importance of promoting Chinese traditional culture while embracing innovation. This approach is evident in various events that blend traditional and modern elements.
Baolifang Sub-Venue will collaborate with the Guangdong Baishiyuan to create a fashion space with an emphasis on traditional crafts, integrating intangible cultural heritage with modern commercial spaces.
