Pilot Free Trade Zone of Guangdong leading regional high-quality integrated development
A symposium on the high-quality integrated development of China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone and its partner regions was held in Qianhai, Shenzhen, Guangdong province, on July 8.
The Pilot Free Trade Zone of Guangdong now encompasses a total of 696 institutional innovation achievements since its founding eight years ago, and has implemented 62 reforms, explored 117 institutional innovations, and carried out 60 industrial collaborative projects in its partner regions over the past year.
The Pilot Free Trade Zone of Guangdong and 13 partner regions also signed a proposal on integrated high-quality development during the symposium.
Persons in charge of the Nansha, Shekou of Qianhai, and Hengqin, which make up the Pilot Free Trade Zone of Guangdong, and its partner regions of Foshan, Shaoguan, Huizhou, Shanwei, and Zhanjiang, among others, gave speeches on the development of their respective regions and facilitated exchanges during the event.
Local government officials attending the symposium also shared their views on how to make better use of the pilot free trade zone to promote the common development of the region.
Afterward, they visited the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, the Qianhai Mercantile Exchange, as well as some enterprises in Qianhai that showcase the region’s development achievements, vitality, and potential.
