Hong Kong and Macao youths welcomed to start businesses in Shenzhen
Shenzhen recently released a set of implementation rules on policies supporting young people from Hong Kong and Macao to start their own businesses in the city.
According to the document, Shenzhen assigns tutors from Hong Kong and Macao who have lived and worked in Shenzhen for some time to young people from Hong Kong and Macao to help them adapt to work and life in Shenzhen as smoothly as possible.
Shenzhen also provides various kinds of subsidies to youth from Hong Kong and Macao so they can start their own businesses in the city.
Shenzhen is considering recognizing professional certificates issued in Hong Kong and Macao and looks to work together with the regions to strengthen their coordination to ease the sharing of social security mechanisms among the three cities, the document said.
