Shenzhen offers customized financial services for SMEs
The Shenzhen municipal government has recently established "financial service posts" in districts to help enterprises resolve financial difficulties.
The new services are affiliated with the city's Financial Supervisory and Administrative Bureau. It promises to take the initiative to learn about companies' specific difficulties and help them solve their challenges in seeking financing.
During June 1 and July 18, the service posts received 1,178 consultation requests on relevant policies, and 78.6% of concerns were addressed. Meanwhile, 109 companies obtained their first loans through the new services. A total of 38.4 billion yuan ($5.69 billion) was provided through the posts' channels to satisfy 40.2 billion yuan in requests for financing. Moreover, the service stations have helped enterprises to realize a credit extension of 1.28 billion yuan.
The bureau said it would continue exploring new and effective ways to help small-, micro-, and medium-sized enterprises overcome financial difficulties.
