Lockdown lifted in Shenzhen
Shenzhen lifted its citywide lockdown on March 21. According to the municipal government, after three rounds of nucleic acid tests between March 14 and 20, the city has realized its "dynamic clearing" objective.
The Shenzhen government said it would try to improve the accuracy of its COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control measures, stabilize economic growth, guarantee people's livelihoods and ensure the security and stability of supply chains.
The precise epidemic prevention and control objective is to minimize the work's influences on socio-economic development.
Apart from balancing the COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control and maintaining the stable operation of the city, Shenzhen also needs to support the fight against the novel coronavirus in the neighboring Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
The government of Shenzhen has vowed to extend a helping hand to the enterprises and businesses to help them overcome temporary difficulties.
It also called on the residents to continue to cooperate with future nucleic acid tests, epidemiological investigations, and lockdowns, if any.
