Shenzhen provides substantial assistance to small businesses
On Mar. 3, the Guangdong provincial government issued a document detailing 25 measures it will take to help micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and individual businesses overcome their difficulties.
The measures can be classified into several aspects: lowering production and operation costs, boosting market demands, protecting enterprise rights and interests, strengthening support for enterprises’ financing, and hunting for talents.
As for Shenzhen, the key is reducing the enterprises’ costs, cutting tax, exempting fees, rebating tax, and providing them with subsidies.
As of Dec. 31, 2021, Shenzhen provided a total of 1.08 billion yuan in loan interest subsidies for 26,000 market entities involving 130 billion yuan loans borrowed by micro, small and medium enterprises and individual businesses.
