Industrial associations advise on high-quality development of Luohu
Eleven industrial associations and six departments of the Luohu district government held a meeting on July 27 on how to help private enterprises to resolve their practical difficulties and collect suggestions on the district’s high-quality development.
Wu Huan, head of the United Front Work Department of the Luohu District Committee of the Communist Party of China, Zuo Jinping, deputy head of the Luohu district government, and officials of relevant departments, attended the meeting presided over by Ye Zhiwei, chairman of the Luohu Association of Industry and Commerce.
The government department heads introduced Luohu’s pro-business and pro-industry policies, as well as the government’s development plans and the objective it sets for the district to become an all-embracing hub of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The Shenzhen Banking Industry Association said it would continue to support the development of banks in Luohu.
The Shenzhen Artificial Intelligence Industry Association suggested that Luohu should strengthen overall planning and policymaking to promote the development of artificial intelligence.
The Shenzhen Gold and Jewelry Industry Association said that Luohu should take advantage of its own strengths, improve the jewelry industrial chain, and boost high-quality development.
The Shenzhen Cuisine Association said Luohu should integrate online and offline commerce, and promote the development of the culture and tourism industries.
The other associations also offered advice on the development of emerging strategic industries, cultural industries, cross-border e-commerce and health sector.
Relevant departments of the Luohu district government responded actively to the associations’ advice and suggestions.
Zuo Jinping expressed his gratitude to the industrial associations, saying they played an irreplaceable role in boosting the development of private enterprises.
According to Zuo, Luohu had its own strengths and potentials to become an international consumption center. He encouraged the industrial associations to continue to serve as bridges to help the Luohu district government improve its business environment.
Wu Huan fully acknowledged the industrial associations’ active contributions to the development of Luohu, saying it was necessary and timely for the Luohu Association of Industry and Commerce to organize the meeting.
He stressed the government would build more platforms for the associations, enterprises and organizations to strengthen exchanges, and that the Luohu Association of Industry and Commerce should continue to serve as a bridge between government and private enterprises.
