The second phase of Shenzhen Metro Line 8 is scheduled to officially commence its initial operations on Dec. 27.
Following the opening of this phase, the operational length of Shenzhen's urban rail transit network (including light rail) will extend to 567.1 kilometers, covering a total of 393 stations. This new phase of Line 8 will facilitate access to coastal areas, providing greater convenience for residents and tourists to reach and explore the seaside in Yantian district.
