Shenzhen promotes transaction platforms in Nanjing
Shenzhen held a promotional fair for its key transaction platforms, including the international jewelry and gems comprehensive trade platform, in Nanjing, capital of east China’s Jiangsu province, on June 12.
This represents the district's latest publicity campaign to promote its transaction platform system countrywide. In April, Shenzhen organized a similar fair in Hangzhou, capital of east China’s Zhejiang province.
By building a transaction platform system where a two-way exchange mechanism is applied, Shenzhen intends to strengthen the market-oriented allocation of resources and help build a unified national market.
Shenzhen’s international gems and jewelry comprehensive trade platform effectively reduces the transaction costs of jewelry and jade imports by innovating the bonded supervision mode. This will help Shenzhen attract the concentration of core global jewelry and jade resources on the platform, and enhance the international resource allocation capacity of the city’s jewelry and jade industry and even that of China's as a whole.
An industrial expert said that to further play the role of the platforms, Shenzhen should accelerate the innovation of business models, introduce more enterprises to the platform system, and strengthen institutional innovation.
