Thoughtful services for enterprises a testament to Luohu’s thriving business environment
Chen Xiaojun, director of the enterprise service center of Luohu, introduced the district’s latest support policies for enterprises at a biweekly news conference the district government held Sept 2.
Chen also touched upon topics ranging from industrial space and service upgrades to digitalization and the continued development of the market system in Luohu.
The Luohu district government is committed to optimizing its local business environment, and has set up a leading group, enacted a series of policies, and launched a number of important measures that serve enterprises. These efforts have doubtlessly paid off, as Luohu has ranked one of the top county-level regions in the country for business two years running.
For instance, subsidies for any company that wants to establish its headquarters in Luohu and purchase office building can reach 80 million yuan ($12.39 million), the highest among all districts in Shenzhen.
Likewise, according to Chen, over the next five to 10 years, Luohu will create about 9.9 million square meters of high-quality industrial space.
Chen said the district government has set aside 700 million yuan to support research and development, technological upgrades and talent acquisition, providing companies with a comprehensive set of services.
The Luohu enterprise service center has also launched initiatives to attract new investment and projects, promotes exchanges between various sectors, and offers training programs for new talent.
It’s all part of upgrades being made to the service platform that was set up in 2019, in an effort to make the system more user-friendly.
“By building the enterprise service platform, we boost interaction between government and enterprise, so as to build and realize the ‘full process, full cycle, all-round’ matrix service mode,” Chen said.
Luohu opened a service window for companies to submit appeals and complaints. Perhaps more importantly though, the center ensures that responses and solutions to the appeals and complaints are made within five working days of receiving them. According to a recent poll, more than 95 % of enterprises using the service window feel content with the government’s responses.
What’s more, Chen said that the enterprise service center will proactively contact enterprises and organize offline and online events to better understand their specific demands from the government.
He added that Luohu remains dedicated to improving its local business environment and the quality of its services, and that those services will become increasingly customized to satisfy each enterprise’s unique needs.
