The two pop music concerts held in Luohu last weekend is a testimony to Shenzhen’s efforts to attract Hong Kong people to enjoy their weekend in the city and stimulate consumption.
The concerts were a part of the Luohu Shenzhen-Hong Kong Culture Month activity, which aims to deepen mutual understanding between the people from the two sides and promote Shenzhen-Hong Kong integrated development.
The songs and dances presented during the concerts invoked nostalgia among the audiences and reanimated their shared memory of the good old days when the Hong Kong entertainment culture entered Shenzhen in the 1980s and 1990s.
