Luohu ranked 7th among the top 100 urban districts where local residents say they lead a happy life, according to research recently released by the CCID Consulting Company Limited.

The report was based on an evaluation index system and data of 910 urban districts across the country conducted by the company. The indexes include 16 core and 30 supporting indexes in six aspects, including employment, consumption, education and public health, smart governance, sharing, and green development.

Last year, Luohu spent 70.6% of its fiscal budget, about 12.93 billion yuan ($1.88 billion), on improving people’s livelihoods, paying special attention to addressing people’s practical concerns and their complaints.
