Qianhai eyes opportunities in Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation
Qianhai is organizing a series of activities this week to foster Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation and celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland.
The activities focus on youth, development, talent, science and technology, the rule of law, policy, life, and consumption.
With a focus on science and technology, the forum held on June 30 promoted science and technology and innovation cooperation among Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. As for the rule of law, a policy briefing on Qianhai's international legal works was also held.
In the forum, Alfred Sit Wing-hang, secretary for innovation and technology of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, said that Hong Kong's innovation and technology are in their golden age, and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is undoubtedly the best partner for Hong Kong in this field.
In the forum, Qianhai and The University of Hong Kong signed a framework agreement of strategic cooperation to support the latter in building research branches in Qianhai.
