Guangdong lawmakers praise government work report
The Guangdong delegation, as part of the fifth session of the 13th National People’s Congress, the country’s top legislature, held a discussion on the government work report.
Guangdong Party chief Li Xi said he completely agrees with the points outlined in the report.
He said that under the leadership of the central authorities, the country overcame tremendous difficulties and made remarkable achievements last year.
Li pointed out that all of Guangdong’s work will be centered on serving the opening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and implementing the central authorities’ deployments.
Wang Weizhong, Guangdong provincial governor, said he also completely agrees with the report.
He said the great achievements the country has made under the leadership of the central authorities have consolidated national confidence and strengthened national unity.
Wang said that Guangdong will continue to pursue high-quality development and make its due contribution to the success of the Party’s 20th National Congress that will be held in the second half of this year.
Huang Chuping, chairman of the Guangdong Provincial People’s Congress, praised the high quality of the report.
He said that the provincial legislature will fulfill its duties to promote good governance in Guangdong and foster social unity and consensus.
