On June 3, 2024, the Shenzhen Artificial Intelligence Ecological Conference took place in Nanshan district, Shenzhen. The event also unveiled the "Modeli Camp" AI Ecological Community, with an initial signing of 11 enterprises for residency.
The Shenzhen "Modeli Camp" AI Ecological Community is the inaugural large-scale model ecosystem in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, dedicated to constructing an ecological service platform that integrates innovative resources and high-end services. The initial phase of "Modeli Camp"spans nearly 20,000 square meters, with future expansion plans to reach 100,000 square meters. "Modeli Camp" will offer computing power subsidies to enterprises, capped at a maximum of 1 million yuan per year.
Difficulty in accessing computing resources and high costs often pose headaches to AI companies. To tackle this challenge, "Modeli Camp" consolidates the scarce resources needed for AI applications and concentrates on establishing seven core public service platforms. These platforms cater to the core demands of AI companies, particularly those related to large-scale models, by offering services such as computing power supply, corpus data, large model compliance, open-source ecosystems for large-scale models, AI hardware development tools, financing matchmaking, and AI scenario innovation.
