Shenzhen-Dongguan-Huizhou signs digital integrated development strategy agreement
On May 25, during the 7th Digital China Summit in Fuzhou of Fujian province, the National Data Administration hosted the Digital Economy Sub-forum. At the event, the strategic cooperation agreements for 15 projects were signed, including one for digital integration of Shenzhen, Dongguan, and Huizhou.
This agreement marks a significant step forward in the development of the "Digital Bay Area" and represents a practical exploration of building a digital China and promoting urban agglomeration integration. Shenzhen, Dongguan, and Huizhou will leverage the "Shenzhen Metropolitan Area Development Plan" to collaborate on digital government construction, smart city development, and data element marketization, enhancing regional competitiveness and supporting the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area development.
The cooperation agreement includes eight main points, covering areas such as integrated public services, cross-regional enterprise services, interconnectivity of information infrastructure, and shared application of data resources. Key initiatives include establishing a coordinated mechanism for data resource sharing and utilization, focusing on cross-regional public services, migrant population statistics, and urban governance. The cities will promote cross-regional data sharing and collaborative data development and utilization, conducting research on cross-regional public data authorization and encouraging data integration applications.
Additionally, Shenzhen, Dongguan, and Huizhou will jointly implement the National Data Administration's "Three-Year Action Plan for Data Elements (2024-2026)," building exemplary "Data Elements ×" application scenarios with high visibility and broad impact. Efforts will be made to accelerate the establishment of data element service stations of the Shenzhen Data Exchange in Dongguan and Huizhou, facilitating compliance, circulation support, demand-supply matching, and ecosystem development.
