First commercial cross-sea low-altitude logistics route in the GBA completes inaugural flight
On April 12, the first commercial cross-sea low-altitude logistics route in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) completed its inaugural flight, marking a significant milestone in the development of low-altitude flying in the GBA.
On that day, a drone carrying goods, including Shenzhen specialty Guangming pigeons, took off from Chiwan Port in Shekou, Shenzhen, and landed at the Hongchang Logistics Park in Xiaolan town, Zhongshan city. Shenzhen and Zhongshan held a ceremony to inaugurate the route at the logistics park.
Operating between Nanshan, Shenzhen, and Xiaolan, Zhongshan, the route allows for a maximum single ticket weight of 20 kilograms and dimensions of 0.6*0.4*0.3 meters. Service hours are Monday to Saturday, 9:00-18:00 (excluding extreme weather conditions and airspace control). Pricing includes a base rate, additional weight charges, and distance-based fees. The current limited-time promotional price is a flat rate of 40 yuan. Users can conveniently place orders through a mini-program. Leveraging efficient transportation modes, cross-city delivery services between Shenzhen and Zhongshan can achieve delivery within 4 hours.
