First Shenzhen-Hong Kong intellectual property securitization project launched
That the Glutrac company in the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone of Futian, Shenzhen, a developer of wearable devices for blood sugar monitoring, recently received its first intellectual property rights financing from Hong Kong. The investment marks the completion of the first Shenzhen-Hong Kong cross-border intellectual property securitization project in the zone.
This is a new channel for Shenzhen and Hong Kong to deepen cooperation, link international financial resources, innovate overseas funds, and facilitate cross-border channels, which can provide new science and technology startups with an alternative solution to their financing difficulties.
The implementation of the project is conducive to attracting more companies to the innovation cooperation zone in Futian. In addition, Guangdong province will continue to explore cross-border intellectual property securitization in the Hetao Innovation Cooperation Zone, accelerate the development of a world-class intellectual property ecological zone, and strive to explore a “Guangdong model” for cross-border intellectual property integrated development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
