Guangdong helps enterprises draw benefits from RCEP
As a part of the global investment promotion efforts of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, an investment promotion fair was recently held in Japan to advance industrial cooperation between Guangdong and Japan.
Similar investment promotion fairs were held last month in New Zealand, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Cambodia and Singapore before the one in Japan. All these countries are members of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP).
In August this year, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangdong Committee (CCPITGC) promoted establishing the Guangdong business alliance of RCEP member countries, which will help Guangdong enterprises fully utilize the policy dividends.
Experts encourage Guangdong enterprises to study the RCEP regulations carefully and adjust the structure of their export goods, reform their supply chains according to different tax policies in other countries, improve customs clearance efficiency through the RCEP framework, and further optimize their commerce model and improve international competitiveness.
The CCPITGC and the Guangdong commerce department jointly founded a special enterprise services center to help enterprises better benefit from the RCEP system.
