The Ministry of Culture and Tourism recently released the second batch of 123 national-level night culture and tourism consumption zones. Six of them are in Guangdong province and all of them are located in cities — Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan, and Huizhou — of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Guangdong contributed five to the first batch of the list the ministry released in November last year. They were in Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhongshan, and Chaozhou.
By issuing the list, the central government aims to stimulate night culture and tourism economy and meets people’s needs for a better life.
